What will you be doing?
The Board Support Volunteer will play a vital role in some of the Boards Trustees. Some Trutees will need support in preparing for upcoming board meetings, as well as any events we will hold that a Trustee may want to attend. This role can be done during or outside of office hours. Knowledge and access to Office 365 and Microsoft Teams is also essential, as the meetings are hybrid.
Supporting some of our Trustees by reading through any related documents in preparation of the Board meetings Send reminders to Trustees of upcoming Board meetings Other tasks as identified by the manager responsible for this role
What are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates with knowledge of and access to Office 365 and three years experience in a similar role. We particularly welcome applicants with:
Lived experience of disability and/or long-term health conditions (whether this is your own or e.g. as a parent or carer) Familiarity with the local area
What difference will you make?
With your support to the Board members, it will create a positive attendance to upcoming meetings and events, as well as a full comprehension of what has been discussed in previous meetings and what to expect in upcoming meetings.
